Several issues with this collar and I would not recommend it. First, the ring is too close to the buckle. The extra leather that hangs out from the ring does not lay flat, it curls outward, which looks terrible and could be a hazard. Second, the ring is too small and sits too close to the collar. I cannot clip any of my leashes to the ring. I will have to attach another ring to be able to clip a leash to it. Third, the leather is soft and showed wear after my dog wore the collar for less than one day. I never attached a leash to it and there was no stress or pulling on the collar. There is so much wear that the collar looked used and I felt it could not be returned.
