Your dogs comfort is important to us, our 3/8" micro-probes are great for Boxers, Dachshunds, Dobermans, Pit Bull Terriers, Pointers, Basenjis, Coonhounds, Dalmatians, Great Danes, Jack Russells, Miniature Pinschers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Whippets and other short-haired breeds. It is always best to use the shortest contact point that makes a reliable connection. Warning! As with all contact points, do not leave the collar receiver on the dog for more than 12 hours at a time.

Long contact points are great for huskies and other breeds with heavy undercoats. The contact points do look ominous, but actually they are very effective without hurting the dog. The small nipple makes the contact, while the bluntness of the curvature prevents skin irritations from occurring. Warning!
