These are very good leads and I've bought several over the years, however, on the last two the midpoint attachement point has eventually torn away from the main lead, leaving my dog unsecured. I have two large dogs (70lbs and 80lbs) and tend to walk them with the lead attached at the midway point and looped across my chest. Over time the stitching on that attachment point loosens up and the ring will tear away. I am still ordering replacements of the same item, but if you walk your dog in a busy area, make sure you are inspecting the stitching regularly to avoid having the lead fail unexpectedly.

I had a very similar leash years ago with my first dog. I naively donated it after he passed, thinking I’d be able to find another one if I wanted it. I’ve been looking for years for this leash again! I love the different attachment points, and the versatility, the leather, and the width. It’s great for times I want my hands free (hiking, running, carrying bags) and can just attach it me, my pack, etc.

I really like this leash. I am currently training service dog puppies and love that the leash can be different lengths. Also the leather definitely is more durable for those shark teeth that the puppies have.

I use it as a coupler to walk two border collies. The best leash I have ever had.

I am used to these from work. Far better than the pet store leashes my dog snapped in a week.
