I can’t say enough good things about these Sure Grip leashes. I recommend them to all of my dog training clients—they’re strong, lightweight, and offer excellent grip, especially in wet conditions. At the same time, they’re comfortable on your hands, even with extended use. Another big plus: they don’t knot or tangle like many other leashes. I have them in almost every length available, and they’ve been consistently reliable.

5/8" Sure Grip Leash

This is my second time buying this leash because my family member liked mine so much I gave it to her lol I love this leash and the longline suregrip leash so much, it’s high quality & gives me a sense of security when walking my dog.

This 10 foot leash is my go to for daily walks with my high energy young shepherd on our daily walks so that he can roam and sniff while we keep moving (which keeps him calmer). I really enjoy the grip this leash has, that's why I chose it and not a slippery nylon one. It's fine in the rain, bit "too" grippy for cold skin when it's freezing temperatures outside. It is lightweight and I pair it with a halti. (If you're clipping into a neck collar or body harness go with the 3/4" version because it feels slightly nicer to grip with the added width.) Because I pair this leash with a halti, my only desire would be for a potentially lighter weight metal clip so long as the quality and strength remained good quality. Both the brass and stainless steel clip versions seem to weight the same as far as I can tell.
